High On Feminism: High Talks Episode One
We were beyond honored to participate in High On Feminism’s new panel discussion series called High Talks, where viewers are treated to more educational Cannabis conversations related to current events and social issues. The first episode, out later this month, and hosted by Jessica Poulin, highlights Her Highness NYC’s partnership with The Last Prisoner Project to bring to light the stories of currently and previously incarcerated women on Cannabis related non-violent offenses.
Participants include Her Highness NYC co-founder, Laura Eisman; Community Engagement Manager of The Last Prisoner Project and formerly incarcerated mother, Evelyn Chappelle; and Co-Founder of Cannabis media outlet High Herstory and COO of Mercury Road Media, Annette Mia Flores. The women will discuss Chappelle’s charges and sentencing to 87 months behind bars, Cannabis legislature and prison reform, and how we can support other women who are still incarcerated.
