Boston: Paint-a-Bong Party on 4/19 hosted by Pottery with a Purpose.
Kicking off the celebrations a day early is Pottery with a Purpose’s Paint-a-Bong Party on 4/19. Come paint your own ceramic bong while enjoying munchies! During this beginner-friendly class, you will be provided with a bong* that you'll paint with underglaze during this 2 hour class. Your host will show you some cool techniques, tips, and tricks to paint your piece, and provide all the materials you need to make a personalized, one-of-a-kind bong. Boston: Build - and Paint - Your Own Pipe Class on 4/20
How fun would it be to spend 4/20 making your own pipe? You can at the Build-a-Pipe Pottery Party hosted by Pottery with a Purpose founder, Samantha Hoff, at Harpoon Brewery! During this beginner-friendly 2.5 hour event, you'll learn how to hand build your own functional, ceramic clay pipes. With Sam's expert guidance, you'll create, decorate and paint your own personalized pieces. Thursday, April 20th, from 6:00-8:30 PM at Harpoon Brewery (306 Northern Ave, Boston, MA 02210)
Women, Writing, Weed, & Wine is joyful disruption. They are a creative community that has gathered online since 2021, a black/woman/veteran owned movement and a space for creative women and gender expansive beings to accept, express, and celebrate their full selves unapologetically. Join Hannah Eko, author of Honey is the Knife, for an evening of free-writing to fun prompts, real-talk about creative struggles, metaphysical discussion of craft (we'll be looking at an excerpt from Deesha Philyaw's The Secret Lives of Church Ladies), creative intention setting, refreshments, and as always, sip and smoke time.
NYC + Instagram: 4/20 Stoner Feud Scavenger Hunt Powered by Tru Stoner
With all the fun of Pokémon, Family Feud and Easter egg hunting but for cannabis-enthusiasts, this Stoner Feud Scavenger Hunt game will be conducted on @TruStoner’s Instagram Live on 4/20. Each participant will be asked four questions based around NYC trivia and have 30 seconds to answer the questions. The game is a great way to learn about local NYC businesses in the cannabis space! Los Angeles: PUFF DAO’s FOUR TWENTY ON SUNSET Twilight Zone Themed Party at BeTRUE Studios
If you're looking for a more immersive experience, check out Puff Dao’s Four Twenty on Sunset - a Twilight Zone Themed event at BeTRUE Studios. It will take place on 4/20 in Hollywood at at BeTRUE (a queer owned multi purpose event/studio space) from 7PM-Midnight.
You’ll see some of your favorite cannabis brands, a DJ lineup, food, a well known Mentalist/Magician Jackson Ridd, and a few other surprises in the works!
Miami: PrettyHigh Club Baddie Bash on April 7th
For those who want to party in style, don't miss the PrettyHigh Club Baddie Bash. This event is going down at a beautiful lakefront property and promises to be the ultimate pre-4/20 celebration.
