Introducing PRETTYHIGH®: The New Luxury Brand Defining Cannabis Lifestyle
PRETTYHIGH® is our latest brand obsession and was created specifically for people who love life and find joy in the journey. Of course we adore her luxury cannabis accessories, but PRETTYHIGH® is more than a product, it’s a way of thinking, a way of living. PRETTYHIGH® is… ever evolving!
We were lucky enough to interview the founder of PRETTYHIGH® about her luxe smoking accessories and curated one of a kind vintage pieces. We were absolutely blown away by the simple, edgy design of DOUG, a bold, black and brass dug out complete with a golden pipe and poker. We also love the PRETTYHIGH ROLLER, a brass and leather roller with a brass tray, which would look stunning on any boss lady’s desk. We wanted to know more about how the design and craftsmanship came together to create these one of a kind accessories.
High Herstory: Katy, thank you so much for taking the time to answer some of our questions about your luxury fashion and cannabis brand, PRETTYHIGH®. Your designs are breathtaking. What made you first decide to step into the world of luxury cannabis accessories?
PRETTYHIGH®: I wanted something beautiful to smoke with. I think back to the 20’s, 30s, 40’s… when smoking was social. It was stylish and sophisticated! It was a way of connecting. Even if you weren’t a smoker, you had a nice lighter or ashtray to offer… I wanted that same feeling but with my pipe.
I could no longer tolerate my “college days” Mario brothers mushroom looking pipe. Ha. I wanted something elegant, yet solid. I dreamed of something equally as beautiful as my antique, hand-cut crystal glassware. A pipe too pretty to even use.

HH: Can you tell us about “Doug” and why it is such a unique piece?
P: I’ve always loved “a dug”. The original dugout was a little, wooden, hippie-dippie box that had a cigarette painted pipe in it. It was always a functional piece, but it really wasn’t very cute! ha. I wrapped my old dugout in strands of vintage rhinestones to “dress it up,” and make it feel more stylish! (DRESS YOU UP DOUG) ha. It was when my girlfriend asked, “why aren’t you selling THOSE?!!” that I thought to myself, "Why aren't you selling THOSE??!!”. Well, I actually sang to myself in my Madonna voice, "I'm gonna dress you up in my love......" And so it started. The journey of connection through creation, PRETTYHIGH®.

HH: What is your latest creation and how long have you been working on it?
P: Latest? PRETTYHIGH® creation is present. Persistent. Ever evolving. Pursuit of an idea is constant for me until, at some point in time, the design manifests and the piece is sitting in my hand. As for a specific design, I’ll ask you to come see the NEXT SHOWING!
HH: How do you see the brand, PRETTYHIGH®, continuing to evolve?
P: Ever evolving, PRETTYHIGH® is more than a product, it’s a way of thinking, a way of living. I hold dear the idea of PRETTYHIGH HOSPICE™ where I can be of service to life’s most special transition. Annnnnddd, PRETTYHIGHCECREAM™.
HH: Who would you say you design these accessories and pieces for? Who is your ideal consumer?
P: I design for myself…to create is to keep spirit conscious. My ideal consumer (friend, ha) has a style both playful and edgy, sees value in the details, and appreciates the quality of a timeless gift.
This vintage-inspired, solid brass roller and tray are a perfect way to roll your herbal cigarette like an old fashioned movie star.
HH: What are some of the inspirations behind your brand?
P: Inspiration comes in many forms, that to others, may appear random. For me, inspiration comes from different moments in time…through people, music, things…a series of non-coincidences, leading to my creation of a concept. PRETTYHIGH® is vintage-inspired, high-design.
HH: Where did your love of vintage come from?
P: Old is gold. I grew up with parents who always appreciated antiques for their durability, quality and design. Their collected pieces are featured in our home and some are incorporated into our renovation projects around town. Aside from their influence, I was once gifted a collection of vintage and antique jewelry that markedly inspired my love for all things costume!
HH: If I was in the market to buy a gift from PRETTYHIGH® for my “smoking” girlfriend or boyfriend, are there any standout show pieces you’d recommend?
P: Each showpiece has a style and story of its own. The best gifts to give reflect the beholder’s style, personality and mood.
